CLI
Use @dlbr/eid-cli to sign in from your terminal, inspect your API identity, and test webhook delivery locally. The executable is named eid.
Install
Requires Node.js 20 or newer. Install in your project and run commands with pnpm exec.
pnpm add -D @dlbr/eid-cli
pnpm exec eid --helpSign in to Test
Interactive login is supported on macOS and Linux. The CLI displays a one-time code and opens Console for approval. Choose the workspace you want to use; Test is the default environment.
pnpm exec eid auth login --environment test
pnpm exec eid auth statusFor manual browser approval, add --no-browser. Console applies your workspace role and scope limits. The issued API credential expires after 30 days and is saved in macOS Keychain or Linux Secret Service; it is not written to a plaintext config file or printed.
Console sign-in approves CLI access; subsequent API calls authenticate with the issued API credential. This is separate from the Docs Try it session.
For CI, inject DLBR_EID_API_KEY through your secret store. This environment variable takes precedence over the saved credential. eid auth status, eid whoami, and eid me --json show identity, scopes, mode, and expiry without printing the key.
pnpm exec eid auth logoutLogout removes the locally saved credential. Revoke the key itself in Console settings when needed.
Find a command
Search the local command catalog, then inspect the options before running a command.
pnpm exec eid cli search "verify a webhook signature"
pnpm exec eid schema webhook verify
pnpm exec eid webhook --helpCommand search runs locally and makes no network requests.
Listen for local webhook deliveries
Inject DLBR_EID_WEBHOOK_SECRET from your local secret store. This is your webhook HMAC signing secret, separate from the API key. Keep the listener running in one terminal.
pnpm exec eid webhook listen --port 8787 --path /webhooksIn a second terminal with the same webhook secret, send a synthetic signed event.
pnpm exec eid webhook trigger \
--url http://127.0.0.1:8787/webhooks \
--event VERIFIEDSynthetic delivery checks signature handling and local delivery. It does not prove wallet verification or create a verification audit entry. The listener verifies the raw body and rejects invalid signatures and replays.
Forward to your local app
To receive remote Test deliveries, install cloudflared, then start a temporary tunnel and forward verified requests to your app.
pnpm exec eid webhook listen \
--port 8787 \
--path /webhooks \
--tunnel \
--forward http://localhost:3000/webhooksConfigure the printed public URL as your Test webhook destination in Console. Quick Tunnels are for development; anyone with the URL can reach the listener, which checks signatures before forwarding. Forward destinations are restricted to loopback addresses.
See Webhooks for the delivery contract and JavaScript / TypeScript SDK for backend integration.
